Description

A creamy and refreshing Indian mango drink, also known as mango lassi, made with ripe mangoes and yogurt for a naturally sweet and cooling beverage.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup yogurt or milk
  • 12 tablespoons sugar (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the mangoes, removing the pit.
  2. Add mango pieces to a blender along with yogurt or milk.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and add sugar if needed, then blend again.
  5. Add cardamom powder if using and blend briefly.
  6. Pour into glasses and add ice if desired.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use very ripe mangoes for natural sweetness.
  • Add saffron strands for a richer flavor.
  • Use plant-based yogurt or milk for a vegan version.
  • Frozen mango can be used for a thicker, colder drink.
  • Best enjoyed fresh for optimal taste and texture.
