Description
A creamy and refreshing Indian mango drink, also known as mango lassi, made with ripe mangoes and yogurt for a naturally sweet and cooling beverage.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup yogurt or milk
- 1–2 tablespoons sugar (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder (optional)
- 1/2 cup ice (optional)
Instructions
- Peel and chop the mangoes, removing the pit.
- Add mango pieces to a blender along with yogurt or milk.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and add sugar if needed, then blend again.
- Add cardamom powder if using and blend briefly.
- Pour into glasses and add ice if desired.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use very ripe mangoes for natural sweetness.
- Add saffron strands for a richer flavor.
- Use plant-based yogurt or milk for a vegan version.
- Frozen mango can be used for a thicker, colder drink.
- Best enjoyed fresh for optimal taste and texture.
