Ingredients
- 3 black tea bags or green tea bags
- 2 fresh peaches, sliced
- 4 cups water
- 2–3 tablespoons honey or sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
- 1–2 cups ice cubes
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil and steep tea bags for 5–7 minutes, then remove and let cool.
- In a saucepan, cook sliced peaches with a little water and sweetener until soft and juicy.
- Mash the peaches and strain if a smoother texture is desired.
- Combine the peach mixture with the cooled tea and stir well.
- Add lemon juice if desired and mix.
- Chill in the refrigerator or serve over ice.
