Ingredients
Chocolate Base
- 16 oz white chocolate chips or white candy melts
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Topping
- 1 cup Reese’s Pieces candies
- Optional: 1/4 cup chopped peanuts for extra crunch
Instructions
- Prepare the workspace: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking and make cleanup easy.
- Melt the white chocolate: Place the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and melt in 30-second intervals, stirring well between each, until smooth and fully melted.
- Add peanut butter: Stir the creamy peanut butter into the melted white chocolate until fully combined and smooth, creating a rich peanut butter white chocolate mixture.
- Pour and spread: Pour the peanut butter white chocolate mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly to about 1/4-inch thickness using a spatula.
- Add toppings: Immediately sprinkle the Reese’s Pieces evenly over the top of the warm mixture, gently pressing them in so they adhere. If using, scatter chopped peanuts as well for extra texture.
- Chill to set: Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour, or until the bark is completely firm.
- Break into pieces: Once set, remove from fridge and break the bark into irregular pieces of your desired size.
- Serve and store: Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in a cool place or refrigerator to keep fresh.
Notes
- Use high-quality white chocolate for the best taste and texture.
- You can substitute creamy peanut butter with natural peanut butter but ensure it’s well-stirred.
- For a different crunch, add chopped pretzels or crushed graham crackers alongside the Reese’s Pieces.
- Store the bark in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
- If white chocolate seizes during melting, try adding a teaspoon of vegetable oil or melting slowly with stirring.
