Description

Rich, fudgy small batch brownies that are perfectly chocolatey and ideal for satisfying dessert cravings without making a large batch.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a small baking dish (about 6×6-inch).
  2. Melt butter and let it cool slightly, then mix with granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Pour batter into prepared dish and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes, depending on desired fudginess.
  9. Let cool slightly before cutting and serving.

Notes

  • Reduce baking time slightly for fudgier brownies.
  • Add chopped nuts for extra crunch.
  • Swirl peanut butter or caramel for added flavor.
  • Use dark chocolate chips for a richer taste.
  • Sprinkle sea salt on top for a sweet-salty finish.
