Snack Mix:
- 9 cups Chex cereal
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 Snickers bars, chopped into small pieces
Instructions
- Prepare the Cereal: Pour the Chex cereal into a large mixing bowl and set aside for coating later.
- Melt Chocolate Mixture: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semisweet chocolate chips, peanut butter, and unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
- Add Vanilla: Stir the vanilla extract into the melted chocolate mixture to enhance the flavor.
- Coat the Cereal: Pour the chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the Chex cereal. Gently fold with a spatula to evenly coat all the cereal pieces without crushing them.
