Ingredients
- 2 cups raw almonds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar or honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, toss the almonds with olive oil or melted butter until evenly coated.
- Add brown sugar or honey, salt, black pepper, paprika, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper if using.
- Mix well until the almonds are fully coated with the spice mixture.
- Spread the almonds in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, stirring halfway through for even roasting.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely before serving to allow them to crisp up.
