Description

Strawberry Cold Foam is a delightful and creamy topping perfect for iced coffees and beverages. Made with fresh strawberries, milk, and a touch of sweetener, this cold foam adds a fruity twist and a velvety texture that enhances the flavor of your favorite drinks. It’s easy to make and brings a refreshing berry boost to your cold coffee experience.

Ingredients

Cold Foam Base

  • 1/2 cup milk (whole milk recommended for frothiness)
  • 1/4 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Strawberries: Wash and hull fresh strawberries, then chop them into small pieces to ensure they blend smoothly into the foam.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a blender or a frother pitcher, add the milk, chopped strawberries, simple syrup, and vanilla extract if using.
  3. Blend or Froth: Blend the mixture on high speed for about 30 seconds or use a handheld milk frother to whip the ingredients until light, frothy, and well combined. The foam should be airy and fluffy.
  4. Serve: Pour over your iced coffee or preferred cold beverage immediately, using a spoon to hold back the foam initially and then topping your drink with the strawberry cold foam.
  5. Optional Garnish: Garnish with a small slice of strawberry or a light dusting of powdered sugar for an extra touch of sweetness and presentation.

Notes

  • Use whole milk or 2% milk for best frothing results; non-dairy milks may not froth as well.
  • Simple syrup can be replaced with honey, agave, or any sweetener to taste.
  • Consume immediately for the best texture and flavor.
  • Freezing leftover foam is not recommended as it will lose its texture.
  • Adjust the strawberry quantity for a stronger or milder fruit flavor based on preference.
