Description

A refreshing and vibrant Strawberry Kiwi Smoothie Bowl that’s perfect for a nutritious breakfast or a healthy snack. This smoothie bowl blends fresh strawberries and kiwi with creamy yogurt and a touch of honey for natural sweetness, topped with crunchy granola and chia seeds for added texture and nutrients.

Ingredients

Smoothie Base

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 2 ripe kiwis, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Toppings

  • 1/4 cup granola
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 56 fresh strawberry slices
  • 1 kiwi, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fruit: Wash and hull the strawberries, and peel and slice the kiwis to get the required quantities ready for blending.
  2. Blend the Smoothie: In a blender, add the strawberries, kiwis, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey, and vanilla extract. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Pour into Bowl: Pour the smoothie mixture into a serving bowl, spreading it evenly to create a base for your toppings.
  4. Add Toppings: Sprinkle the granola and chia seeds evenly over the smoothie bowl. Arrange the fresh strawberry slices and kiwi slices on top. Optionally, sprinkle shredded coconut for extra texture and flavor.
  5. Serve Immediately: Enjoy your Strawberry Kiwi Smoothie Bowl right away for the best taste and freshness.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt and use maple syrup instead of honey.
  • You can freeze the fruit ahead of time for a thicker, cooler smoothie bowl.
  • Change up the toppings with nuts, seeds, or fresh fruit as preferred.
  • If you prefer a sweeter smoothie bowl, adjust honey or maple syrup accordingly.
  • This recipe is best consumed fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
