Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked salmon (fresh or canned, flaked)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/4 cup yogurt or sour cream
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or prepare a skillet with oil for frying.
- In a bowl, combine flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, green onions, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley.
- Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small balls and place on a tray.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes or pan-fry until golden brown on all sides.
- In another bowl, mash avocado until smooth.
- Add yogurt or sour cream, lime juice, garlic, salt, and pepper, and mix until creamy.
- Serve salmon balls warm with avocado sauce on the side or drizzled on top.

- Add Dijon mustard or hot sauce for extra flavor.
- Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
